Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Security in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, riders, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document activities while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and transportation-related operations for unusual activity, and report observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and interactions accurately, and communicate with site representatives, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
