Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2190 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Required Credentials: Self-study of telemetry strips required upon acceptance. Basic dysrhythmia test-out required first week of assignment; must pass to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric medical/surgical and telemetry patient population. Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation. No regular call rotation; may occasionally be placed on call during low census. If called in, must respond and arrive on-site within one hour. Possibility of overtime.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus at times. Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. Travelers with critical care experience may occasionally float to CCU.

14 days maximum time off
