Senior Lab Technician - 2nd Shift | $16.05/Hour Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and ready to make a difference? We are looking for a Senior Lab Technician to join our lab team! Location: Blacksburg, SC What You'll Do
- Perform fabric testing using laboratory equipment based on your training.
- Wash and dry fabric using household and industrial machines.
- Precision-cut fabric samples for accurate testing.
- Enter test data, track washing progress, and print testing requirements using a computer.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate, consistent results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Follow established procedures to support quality standards and maintain lab certifications.
- Participate in audits and help uphold ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and UL DAP requirements.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with management, coworkers, and business leaders.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and basic analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking test results.
- Good manual dexterity for precision cutting and operating lab equipment.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and following established procedures.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and reach, bend, carry, push, and pull as needed.
