Enterprise Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise Windows, Active Directory, Azure, and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, cloud infrastructure, PowerShell automation, virtualization, and enterprise systems support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2016 and newer.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy in large enterprise environments.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor Azure resources, analyze performance, identify resource contention, and recommend optimization or capacity improvements.
• Configure and maintain Azure and AWS infrastructure security and access controls.
• Manage user, application, and resource access across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and maintain Windows servers and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server, Active Directory, cloud, and infrastructure issues with minimal business impact.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for server monitoring, automation, Active Directory, and Azure administration.
• Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and system migrations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and operational processes.
• Research and recommend technical solutions to meet infrastructure and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure processes, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and technical teams to support enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Server administration experience, including 3+ years with Windows Server 2016 or newer.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure/cloud administration experience.
• 1+ year of AWS experience.
• 5+ years of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy administration in enterprise environments supporting 1,000+ users.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Strong experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts.
• Experience supporting virtualized server and cloud environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large, distributed enterprise environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and process improvement.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and access control.
• Familiarity with CJIS, HIPAA, or other enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Experience collaborating with software development, infrastructure, security, and data teams.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions within deadlines.
