Chief Cabin Attendant - Job Description Reports to: Director of Aviation/Director of Operations Status: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Cabin Attendant is responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety, service, and professionalism aboard all Caris Air Services, LLC Part 91 and Part 135 flights, including executive charter operations. This role oversees cabin operations, inventory management, passenger experience programs, and administrative support functions in coordination with the Director of Operations and company flight crews. While this position provides cabin service leadership and standardization across the Caris Air Services LLC fleet, the Cabin Services Manager is assigned to fly on a single company aircraft.

ESSENTIAL FLIGHT DUTIES

Cabin Safety Ensures compliance with all FAA regulations and Caris Air Services, LLC policies for Part 91 and Part 135 operations, as defined in the company General Operations Manual (GOM). Conducts preflight cabin inspections and passenger safety briefings, including offshore and overwater briefings when applicable, and verifies that emergency equipment including life vests, rafts, and survival equipment is inspected and serviceable. Coordinates emergency procedures when required, in accordance with company SMS protocols, and ensures cabin security before departure, during flight, and after landing. Performs preflight passenger safety checks, including verifying that all carry-on items are properly stowed and that seat belts and shoulder harnesses are fastened prior to takeoff and landing. Notifies the pilot-in command when the cabin is secure for takeoff and landing and observes sterile flight deck procedures during critical phases of flight. As a full member of the flight crew, the Chief Cabin Attendant is subject to the same flight and duty time limitations as flight deck crew to mitigate fatigue and maintain the highest level of cabin safety. Passenger Service Delivers exceptional white-glove customer service consistent with the Caris Air Services LLC brand standard, including preparing and serving meals, beverages, and refreshments, and coordinating catering orders and special dietary requests. Maintains cabin cleanliness and presentation before, during, and after each flight, and anticipates passenger needs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Coordinates ground transportation, hotel arrangements, and other passenger requests as assigned. Flight Preparation Reviews trip itineraries and passenger manifests, and coordinates with pilots, dispatch, FBO personnel, and catering vendors to prepare aircraft for departures and arrivals, including offshore-adjacent FBOs. Verifies catering accuracy and quality and ensures passenger preferences are incorporated into each trip.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Passenger Preference Program Maintain detailed passenger preference profiles including food, beverage, allergies, favorite snacks, reading materials, cabin temperature preferences, birthdays, special occasions, and preferred amenities. Update profiles after each trip. Stock Room & Inventory Management Manage the Caris Air Services LLC flight department stock room; maintain inventory of snacks, beverages, alcohol, coffee, cleaning products, linens, cabin supplies, medical supplies, and passenger amenities. Rotate stock, maintain organization, reorder supplies, and conduct monthly audits. Catering Coordination Order catering, manage vendor relationships, monitor quality, track invoices, and resolve issues. Vendor Management Coordinate with catering companies, floral vendors, laundry services, cabin detailing vendors, FBOs, and hotel partners across the company's operating region. Maintain vendor contacts and evaluate performance. Documentation & Compliance Maintain training records, SMS documentation, GOM revisions, applicable budgeting and cabin equipment inspections in accordance with Caris Air Services LLC recordkeeping standards.

AIRCRAFT CABIN MANAGEMENT

Develops and maintains cabin presentation standards for the Caris Air Services LLC fleet, coordinates aircraft deep cleaning schedules, and ensures cabin décor remains current and professional. Recommends cabin upgrades and improvements, and monitors upholstery, bedding, galley equipment, dinnerware, glassware, and cabin electronics.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as the lead cabin crewmember for Caris Air Services LLC, standardizing cabin service procedures across all company aircraft and developing service standards. Trains and mentors flight attendants, participates in department meetings, and promotes teamwork across flight operations.

TRAINING &

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified flight attendants are trained in accordance with FAR Part 91, FAR Part 135, and the Caris Air Services LLC General Operations Manual (GOM). The flight attendant position is treated as an integral member of the flight crew, essential to the safety of passengers and the operation. Recurrent Training Curriculum Initial or recurrent training on all aircraft to which the flight attendant is assigned; cabin egress training and emergency evacuation drills, including hand-on training with emergency equipment; in-flight medical emergency response with AED/CPR certification; basic indoctrination covering applicable FAA regulations and company SOPs; food safety certification; HazMat, dangerous goods, and security training; culinary preparation and presentation; and OSHA and SMS training and awareness. QUALIFICATIONS Required Minimum 5 years corporate aviation preferred; Part 91/135 experience; CPR/AED & First Aid; Microsoft Office proficiency; valid passport; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and ability to travel on short notice. Preferred International operations experience, luxury hospitality background, corporate aviation management, inventory/logistics management, SMS familiarity, and vendor management.
