About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's global health and nutrition initiatives. The CPO will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of the global programs portfolio, ensuring that all activities are in line with the organization's mission and long-term strategic priorities. This includes driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and building strategic partnerships to maximize the impact of the programs. The successful candidate will be a proven executive leader with a strong background in global health, nutrition, or related sectors, and will be expected to deliver measurable progress across the organization's key outcomes. Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a doctoral degree, and a track record of success in executive leadership, scientific and technical credibility, strategic growth, and resource mobilization. The role requires a visionary yet pragmatic leader, adept at influencing policy, and with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governments, multilateral organizations, and philanthropic foundations. The CPO will also be expected to model the organization's guiding behaviors, which include collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, accountability, solution orientation, and innovation. The position is ideal for a passionate advocate for nutrition, capable of leading the organization into its next chapter and ensuring that the health and nutrition needs of women and children are met on a global scale.
