We’re Hiring: Public Relations Account Executive We’re on the hunt for a Public Relations Account Executive in Austin, Texas. Resplendent is a creative communications agency based in Austin, TX, partnering with hospitality, food and beverage, CPG, and lifestyle brands. We combine thoughtful strategy, strong creative execution, and data-informed decision-making to drive real business outcomes for our clients. Role Overview Resplendent is seeking a Public Relations Account Executive to support the execution of PR strategy, media relations, and day-to-day account coordination across a portfolio of hospitality-focused clients. This is a mid-level, client-facing role designed for someone highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a fast-paced agency environment. The Account Executive plays a critical role in ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across accounts while building the skills needed to take on greater ownership over time. As a boutique agency, our team structure is flexible. The Account Executive may lead execution on some accounts while supporting senior team members on others, depending on account complexity and needs. What You’ll Do Client Management & Communication Serve as a day-to-day client contact alongside senior team members, supporting communication, follow-through, and organization across assigned accounts Support client communications related to campaigns, media results, and ongoing priorities Translate direction from senior team members into clear deliverables, timelines, and next steps Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-through Support media outreach efforts by pitching timely, relevant opportunities and maintaining consistent follow-up Build and maintain foundational relationships with local journalists, editors, influencers, and industry contacts Assist in coordinating media interviews, tastings, events, and brand activations Contribute to consistent media momentum across accounts through targeted outreach and execution Content Development Draft press releases, media alerts, pitches, and supporting materials Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all PR deliverables Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging across channels Execution & Account Support Execute PR strategies set by senior team members across multiple client accounts Manage timelines, deliverables, and priorities with strong attention to detail Identify opportunities to proactively support account teams and improve workflow efficiency Delegate and collaborate with Account Coordinators where applicable Success in This Role Looks Like Consistent, high-quality execution with minimal errors or rework Strong follow-through on timelines, deliverables, and communication Clear, professional, and proactive client communication Growing confidence in media pitching and relationship-building Ability to anticipate needs and support account teams effectively Increasing awareness of what is working, what is not, and how to adjust Requirements 2–4 years of experience in public relations, preferably within hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands Strong relationships with Austin-based media and influencers (required) Experience using PR tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, or similar platforms Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Based in Austin, TX, with reliable transportation Preferred National media and influencer relationships Agency experience Perks and Benefits Hybrid Office style Medical, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance Supplemental Insurance: short and long-term disability, etc. PTO with additional mental health days, community service hours, floating holidays Cell phone and mileage reimbursements #J-18808-Ljbffr Resplendent
