Office Administrator (Meridian)

Olsen & Webster CPAs has served Meridian's small business community since 1981. Our team of 9 provides bookkeeping, tax preparation and planning, and business advisory services to clients ranging from home-based startups to companies nearing $25M in sales. We're the accounting and financial partner our clients rely on — and we're looking for a friendly, organized professional to be the first face and voice of our firm.

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time, [20-25 hours/week] — [Mon–Thursday, 12:00PM-5:00PM]
• $20 – $22 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Greet clients and visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them appropriately
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; take messages and schedule appointments
• Keep the reception and waiting area organized, stocked, and presentable
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries
• Provide general information about our services and follow up on minor client questions
• Support accounting staff with clerical tasks: filing, data entry, and recordkeeping
• Help maintain a professional, welcoming environment for every client interaction

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of professional office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Professional, calm demeanor — even when juggling multiple things at once

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-line phone systems
• Prior experience at a CPA firm, tax office, or professional services business
