Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC)

The Federal Housing Finance Agency, Office of Inspector General (FHFA-OIG) promotes the economy, efficiency, and integrity of FHFA's programs and operations by conducting audits, investigations, evaluations, and reviews and recommending courses of action designed to support FHFA's mission of ensuring a safe and sound mortgage finance system that provides reliable liquidity and funding for housing finance and community investment. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part‑time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the EL-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the EL-14 grade level in the Federal service. EL-15 is equivalent to a GS-15. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience leading information technology, cybersecurity, or information security audits to determine whether systems, security controls, or information security programs were working properly and in compliance with applicable standards and requirements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) or equivalent auditing standards. Experience contributing to IT audit plans, including audit objectives, scope, testing approach, milestones, or deliverables. In addition to meeting specialized experience, individuals must meet proficiency levels in each of the following competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Decision Making, Information Management, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork and Technical Competence.
