Strategic Project Lead, MD/Medical Expertise

Lead high-impact healthcare and medical data programs that train frontier AI models, serve as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab clients, and manage a cross-functional team of healthcare and medical subject-matter experts. This role combines end-to-end project ownership, operational leadership of human-driven data pipelines, and executive-level reporting to drive data integrity, scalability, and quality on large-scale medical projects.

• Own projects end to end, ensuring top AI Lab clients receive excellent delivery and outcomes.
• Serve as main point of contact for high-profile AI Lab customers, maintaining direct communication on massive, high-impact engagements.
• Manage teams of Healthcare and Medical experts, including PhDs, Professors, and MDs, and lead Human Data Managers and Leads who review expert work.
• Design, oversee, and optimize complex healthcare and medical data pipelines to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights, status updates, and operational impact reporting to senior leadership.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Human Data.

• Required skills, including Leadership and Team Management, Data Operations, and Human Data experience.
• 2 or more years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or healthcare-focused data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Background in data operations, engineering, computer science, or deep exposure to healthcare and medicine.
• Excellent stakeholder management and soft skills, especially when engaging senior healthcare and medical experts.
• Strong startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building from the ground up and rapidly executing solutions.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, during high-intensity periods.
• MD credential is a strong plus but not strictly required.

• Day-to-day duties include team management, client-facing communication, workflow design, KPI tracking, and executive reporting.

• Displayed core team compensation range, 400, 000 to 550, 000 USD per year.
• Official national pay range for this full-time position, base salary of 180, 000 to 230, 000 USD.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
• Employees may receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policy.
