Strategic Project Lead for Finance AI Model Training [Remote]

Lead high-impact finance-focused projects that train and evaluate frontier AI models, serving as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers. You will manage teams of domain experts and Human Data managers to design, operate, and scale finance-specific data pipelines while maintaining the highest standards for data integrity and quality. This role reports directly to the CEO and the Head of Human Data.

• Serve as the main point of contact for strategic AI Lab clients, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction on large, high-impact engagements.
• Own projects end to end, from scoping and workflow design to delivery and post-project analysis.
• Design, oversee, and optimize complex finance-specific data pipelines to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review the work of subject-matter experts in finance.
• Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs for finance-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level updates and insights on project status, data performance, and operational impact to senior stakeholders.

• Required skills: Leadership and team management, data operations, and human data experience.
• Background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or demonstrable exposure to financial systems and financial data.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or finance-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior finance domain experts.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to identify inefficiencies and build solutions from the ground up.
• Ability and willingness to work long hours when needed, including weekends, in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Core team compensation, as listed: $400, 000 to $550, 000 per year.
• Company disclosure, national pay range for this full-time position: base salary $180, 000 to $230, 000 USD.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
