Assistant Concessions Manager Under the leadership of the Director of Concessions, the Assistant Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of Concessions operations. ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy to guide team members. Greet and welcome guests, highlighting upcoming events and specials. Conduct staff meetings to update on daily goals and objectives. Provide efficient service and quality products, maintaining positive customer and client relations. Maintain costs related to labor, COGS, and operating supplies within budgeted guidelines. Manage operational budget; oversee monthly P&L statements and ensure accurate financial reporting. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff executing the premium team business plan. Establish and maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures; coordinate with local health officials for equipment repair and maintenance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding alcohol sales. Hire and promote associates per Legends standards and maintain management staffing. Collaborate with sub-contractors to meet contractual requirements. Preserve existing programs and develop new concepts to ensure high-quality food service. Oversee monthly inventory for concessions and develop yearly operational budgets. Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2–3 years of management experience in the high-volume foodservice industry, preferably in a concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue. Union experience strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment. Leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives. Customer service oriented; ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives, and guests professionally. Flexibility to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Team player with knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and POS systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have or obtain an NYC Food Protection Certificate. COMPENSATION Competitive salary range of $66,300–$75,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
