ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

Schedule

Day Shift: 3 shifts per week (Wednesday through Saturday), from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of documented ICU experience, or completion of an approved ICU training course that includes didactic and clinical experiences.
Basic computer skills.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Licenses and Certifications

Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required within six months of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification required within six months of hire.
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification encouraged.
