IT Field Technician

About us: Viamontech, Inc. provides IT solutions through outstanding service to franchise dealerships across the country. We focus on Help Desk, cyber-security, email hosting, domain hosting, remote support, field technician assistance, IT project management, Consulting, etc. Duties: Visiting clients in Santa Clara County and surrounding areas, deploying hardware on client sites, providing customer support, hardware configuration, troubleshooting, ticket creation/progress updates, assisting in documenting, talking to users on-site and recommending day-to-day fixes to end-users. Main Responsibilities

- Troubleshooting Hardware; PC's, servers, WIFI and Networking equipment, etc.
- Handling and moving equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with our Help Desk and support technicians to resolve client issues.
- Updating Tickets and projects in the ticketing system.
- Monitor assigned tickets, and keep team and clients informed.
- Other on-site support as needed
- Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems like CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds.
- Other common auto dealership software
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Microsoft certifications
- Cisco Certifications
