Corporate Counsel - Financial Services

LHH Recruitment is assisting a financial services company with a long-standing history of growth and success in seeking In House Counsel to join its collaborative in-house legal team. Key Responsibilities Advise on legal and regulatory matters, including financial services, employment, privacy, corporate, and commercial issues. Research and analyze complex legal developments and provide practical business guidance. Support strategic initiatives, regulatory projects, and international expansion efforts. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and other business-critical documentation. Manage corporate, employment, litigation, and vendor contract matters. Partner with outside counsel and help train internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory developments. Qualifications J.D. and active bar admission. 6+ years of legal experience, including experience at a mid-sized or large law firm. Strong judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives. Experience with financial services, investment management, privacy, or employment matters is a plus, but not required.
