Accounting Manager -LIFO

Salary: $135,000-$145,000 base + 25% bonus + LTI + profit share

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager - Fuel Inventory / LIFO:

Own all LIFO inventory accounting, including layer creation, valuation, and liquidation analysis
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual LIFO calculations supporting inventory valuation and COGS
Analyze margin, P&L, and balance sheet impacts tied to inventory and inflation indices
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals while serving as a technical SME
Partner crossfunctionally with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements across inventory accounting workflows

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager - Fuel Inventory / LIFO:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience in inventory, cost accounting, or complex operational environments
Proven people management experience (not a firsttime manager role)
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel; SAP and inventory systems experience preferred
