Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,591–$1,675 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Work setting: a hospital-based, high-volume ED with level 1 trauma capabilities, where float coverage to related units may be required. This assignment emphasizes fast-paced acuity and patient throughput in a busy emergency department environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy ED, including triage, initial assessment, prioritization, monitoring, and intervention for acutely ill or injured patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor response and adverse effects, document accurately in the electronic chart
- Manage ED boarders and support flow, with potential float to med/surg, step-down, or ICU units as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, techs, and case management to optimize patient care and disposition
- Perform resuscitation, adhere to BLS/ACLS/TNCC protocols, and participate in rapid assessment and escalation of deteriorating patients
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation; maintain compliance with hospital policies and trauma protocols

Requirements
- Active RN license (state to be determined per assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a similar-sized level 1 trauma facility
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Resume with no gaps, ED skills checklist, and ED references
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED with potential float to other acute care units
- Must be able to load demographics and badge photo for onboarding
