Safety Manager

Now Hiring | Health and Safety Manager for our East Coast Projects! We are partnering with several renewable energy companies on a confidential search for a hybrid remote/site-based Health and Safety Manager to support renewable energy operations across the Eastern United States. Role You will be the embedded safety resource on site/remote — a field-forward position where your work directly shapes safety culture, contractor accountability, and operational outcomes. What You'll Be Doing Provide day-to-day Health and Safety oversight across active construction and operational energy sites Implement and maintain a company-wide safety management system — policies, procedures, auditing, and reporting Review and audit contractor safety plans and monitor compliance in the field Track corrective actions and drive timely closure at the site level Deliver HSSE training to site employees and monitor ongoing compliance Maintain OSHA 300 logs and safety metrics using digital reporting platforms Keep Emergency Response Plans current and execute drills with operations teams and local responders Support safety committee meetings and contribute to program development Regional travel required — up to 30% or more What You Bring 5+ years of Health and Safety experience in the Renewable energy or infrastructure sector Working knowledge of federal OSHA, EPA, and construction/general industry standards OSHA 30 certification (Construction and/or General Industry) Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions in the field Physically able to navigate active construction environments Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred You Are Self-directed and effective with minimal oversight A communicator who earns trust across all levels — crews, contractors, and leadership A team builder who makes safety a shared value, not a checkbox Accountable and direct — without being adversarial Interested?
