Job OpportunityPosition: CT Technologist - Radiologic TechnologistLocation: Salida, COShift:The position requires availability for full-time night shifts, with a schedule consisting of 4 nights one week and 3 nights the following week (Wednesday through Saturday / Thursday through Saturday). As a CT Technologist - Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing high-quality radiographic and CT procedures. The role demands professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring the needs of every patient are met.Essential Job Duties:Deliver exceptional patient care while conducting radiographic and CT procedures as per physician orders, acknowledging specific patient needs such as pregnancy, trauma, and elderly patients.Perform quality radiographic exams by: Selecting appropriate techniques to minimize radiation exposure and ensure the production of diagnostic images.Positioning patients correctly to obtain optimal views, as specified by the physician.Utilizing proper shielding to protect patients and staff, ensuring a safe environment.Conduct quality CT exams by: Determining the appropriate protocol in accordance with the orders of the physician and radiologist.Applying proper techniques consistent with ALARA principles for both adult and pediatric patients.Positioning patients to achieve optimal imaging results.Execute quality MRI exams by: Establishing protocols according to the physician and radiologist's orders.Using MRI safety questionnaires to ensure patient safety prior to entering the MRI room.Correctly positioning patients for optimal imaging.Assist with patient transportation to and from the department, ensuring a safe and smooth transition from bed or gurney to examination table.Ensure proper consent forms are signed prior to examinations and gather relevant history for all patient exams.Document patient reactions and histories as needed, informing physicians of any allergies.Maintain sterile techniques and cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.Perform radiographic procedures in various settings, including operating rooms, emergency rooms, and patient rooms, using portable equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency.Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited ARRT program.Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT) or an equivalent credential.A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT procedures.Join us:We invite qualified candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care to apply for this outstanding opportunity.
