Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care

Wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, Hemodialysis Catheter care, Fistulas, PCA, pain management, cardiac rhythm interpretation (telemetry capabilities), non-titratable cardiac drips

Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)

Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Free parking in designated areas

Special Requests: OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.

Shift & Scheduling: Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory

Weekend Rotation: Every Other

No call requirement

Floating Requirement: Any Med/Surg area within the hospital

14 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
