Note Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and have 5+ years of litigation experience with the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution. Confidential Employer. Job Description Manage a diverse litigation caseload independently from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents for California state and federal courts. Conduct all phases of discovery, including taking and defending depositions. Prepare witnesses and experts for hearings, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Represent clients during negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with partners on complex, high‑value litigation matters. Assist with litigation strategy, legal research, and case development. Support business development efforts and cultivate client relationships. Mentor junior legal professionals as the team continues to grow. Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of litigation experience. Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court proceedings. Knowledge of California civil procedure and state and federal court practice. Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload. JD from an accredited law school. Experience from a law firm, in‑house legal department, or solo practice with substantial litigation responsibility is welcomed.
