About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director, Head of Systematic Equity, Direct Indexing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the research team, setting and driving the research agenda, and developing proprietary alpha strategies for the firm's investment products. This senior leadership role requires a candidate with a Ph.D. or MS in a quantitatively rigorous field, at least 5 years of work experience, and a proven track record in quantitative asset management. The role involves supervising the implementation of alpha strategies in client portfolios, overseeing the backtesting environment, and presenting key research insights at various events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long/short quantitative equity portfolio management, excellent executive communication skills, and experience working closely with engineering or product teams. Applicants for this role at the company should be prepared to take on a challenging and dynamic position that demands a high level of expertise and leadership.
