Overview Occupational Therapist OT for Home Health — Independent Contractor in San Diego and surrounding areas. Self-motivated clinician delivering premier care to adults of all ages. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, adaptive equipment, and other OT needs as defined by medical conditions. Develop a treatment plan based on assessment results and implement interventions to improve and maintain patient wellbeing. Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment as needed. Provide services in accordance with state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy and in coordination with other members of the health care team. Lead patients in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in areas where they can participate in therapy. Qualifications Ability and enthusiasm to work with patients of all ages. Occupational Therapist license and state registration. Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Bilingual is a plus!
