Boiler Operator

Job Responsibilities Oversee boiler operations including gauge checking system to prevent malfunctions Conduct regular testing of pressure, chemical and water levels to ensure safe operation Identify and fix issues promptly to ensure smooth production processes Operate kiln to dry poles according to company specification Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment Operate loader as needed Work cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for the work environment Other work‑related duties as required Candidate Qualifications / Requirements Knowledge of boiler systems and mechanical components Ability to monitor and read gauges Basic computer knowledge including applications Strong problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent required Willingness to be hands‑on with physical production Ability to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold) Capability to lift up to 50 lbs Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Koppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
