In this role, you’ll support the successful delivery of capital and construction projects by coordinating with clients, technical teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to keep work moving safely, efficiently, and on track. This position will support projects throughout the Capital District and northern New York State, with travel anticipated, including a focus area approximately an hour north of Glens Falls, NY.What You'll Do:Manage and support private and public capital projects by coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and project documentation from start to finishPartner with clients, technical teams, market staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to address needs, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecyclePrepare proposals, project plans, schedules, budgets, progress updates, and Quality Management Plans in collaboration with CHA teamsCoordinate contracts, purchase orders, subcontractor documents, daily correspondence, invoices, critical communications, and other project filesSupport project controls, document submittals, approvals, QA/QC requirements, project reviews, and closeout documentationConduct regular project progress meetings and provide timely updates to clients, management, and project teamsMonitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, subcontractor billings/payments, and overall project performanceHelp support project-specific health and safety planning while promoting compliance with established project requirementsWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Science, Planning, Engineering Management or related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and licensureMinimum of 3 years of construction management experience required, including at least 2 years of project management experienceWorking knowledge of project engineering and/or construction principles, construction schedules, and project delivery practicesProficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software (ProCore); knowledge of Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint preferredAbility to manage scope, budget, schedule, technical tasks, project documentation, and competing priorities with confidence and attention to detailStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across clients, project teams, technical staff, and various stakeholder groupsA motivated, organized, and adaptable approach with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and stay calm in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of multi-prime contractsOSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certification preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Build your project management career while supporting meaningful capital and construction projects that strengthen communities across the Capital District and northern New YorkCollaborate with experienced PMCM professionals who will help you continue growing your technical knowledge, client-facing confidence, and project delivery skillsGain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle, from proposals and planning to coordination, project controls, financial tracking, and closeoutCurious about the impactful work our PMCM team is doing?
