This includes but is not limited to directing and administering production control, inventory control, shipping, receiving and proper storage.Duties and Responsibilities:Enter purchase and sales orders into accounting program (Sage)Perform receiving functions when products arrive including ensure correct product description, quantity, temperature, inspect for damageRecord receipt of productStore product per product insertPrepare and apply all labelsPrepare shipping documents daily based on Sales Orders (domestic and international) to include but not limited to: C of A’s, data sheets, invoice edit reportsPrepare all customer specific shipping documentsMaintain inventory of boxes, cold packs, and shipping materialsCommunicate with customers, freight forwarders, government agencies to facilitate export and import of productsFollows company policies and practices as outlined in the EE Handbook. Follows guidelines regarding safety as outlined by the organization.Perform additional duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Excellent Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel)Working knowledge of Platinum/Sage software preferredStrong Administrative and communication skillsMinimum Job Requirements:AA or BA in business and/or Life Science or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience working with a QMS a plus. Previous experience in coordination/logistics preferred.
