Logistics Coordinator
$25.2 - $34.65 per hourBio-Techne
Bio-Techne seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage product planning, inventory control, receiving, storage, and distribution for life-science research tools. The role encompasses order entry, shipping documentation, international compliance, and cross-functional communication to support customer and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Enter purchase and sales orders into Sage accounting software
- Perform receiving functions: verify product descriptions, quantities, temperature, and inspect for damage
- Prepare shipping documents daily for domestic and international orders, including Certificates of Analysis and invoices
- Store products according to specifications and maintain inventory of shipping materials
- Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate exports and imports
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or life science, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Prior coordination or logistics experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Platinum/Sage software preferred
- ISO 9001 knowledge and QMS experience a plus
Compensation: $25.20–$34.65 per hour
