Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an IT Business Analyst III to join their team. As an IT Business Analyst III, you will be part of the Business Analysis Department supporting Risk Management and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and strategic thinking.

Location: Jersey City, NJ

What's the Job?

• Understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, budgets, and documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to review technical requirements ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability.
• Perform complex data analysis, design data models, and develop strategic solutions to support business objectives.
• Participate actively in agile routines including sprint planning, capacity planning, prioritization, and backlog management.
• Review testing and implementation phases to ensure accuracy and successful deployment of solutions.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience as a business analyst working on significant technical delivery projects.
• Effective communication skills with technical, business, and quantitative stakeholders.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and presentations for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
