SeekingahighlyskilledandinnovativePrincipalFPGAEngineeringContractortoworkwithourAppliedResearchandTechnology(ART)MicroelectronicsTechnologyteam.Yourworkwillcontributetothedevelopmentofcutting-edgedefensesolutionsacrossMissionSystems,leveragingyourexpertiseinthedesign,implementation,verification,andintegrationofawidevarietyofhigh-performancedigitalFPGAs. WhatYouWillDo:
• AdheretoallapplicableEngineeringDevelopmentandQualityprocesses,procedures,instructionsandguidelines.
• ParticipateinAgileteammeetingsandplanningactivities,asrequiredtosupportprogramscoveredbythisworkplan.
• Requirements,designandverificationofFPGAsolutions
• IntegrationofdevelopedFPGAontargethardwareunits
• Supportingpeerreviewsandcertificationanalysisactivities
• PeerreviewingFPGAdevelopmentartifacts
• Recommendnewtoolsandpracticesforcontinuousimprovementinthegroup'sASIC/FPGAdesignflow
• Contributetoengineeringestimatesfornewprogrampursuits.
• Providetechnicalleadershipforprojectdesignteamsbybreakingdownwork,planningactivities,andreportingstatus QualificationsYouMustHave:
• TypicallyrequiresadegreeinScience,Technology,EngineeringorMathematics(STEM)andminimum8yearspriorrelevantexperienceoranAdvancedDegreeinarelatedfieldandminimum5yearsofexperience.
• Aminimumof5yearsprofessionalexperienceinFPGAdevelopment,ASICfrontend,orrelatedareas
• ProficientinVHDL/VerilogforFPGA/ASICdesignandimplementation.
• Experienceindigitalcircuitarchitecture,design,resourcetradeoffs,timinganalysis,andtimingclosure
• FamiliaritywithFPGAplatformssuchasAMD/Xilinx,Altera,Microchip,orothers,andassociatedtoolchains(e.g.,Vivado,Quartus,Libero).
• StrongdebuggingandtroubleshootingskillsforFPGA/ASICsystems.
• Proficiencywithrevisioncontrolconceptsandtools(e.g.,Git,Subversion) QualificationsWePrefer:
• Excellentcommunicationandteamworkskillswiththeabilitytoworkinacollaborativeenvironment.
• Experiencewithhigh-speeddigitalinterfacesandprotocols(e.g.,DDR,PCIe,Ethernet).
