Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, including IV therapy and epidural support
• Educate and support patients and families during the perinatal experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
