Accountant

Accountant Type: Full-time Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: 70K-115K Responsibilities: Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations Maintain compliance with SOX controls over corporate accounting Assist in collaboration with cross-functional groups such as BD, HR, HSE, IT, Real Estate, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to deliver accurate and timely reporting for executive and upper-level management Assist in month-end close processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial results for indirect support functions and corporate accounting processes, as well as forecast and budget support Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Gather information and review data to ensure the accuracy of accruals and month-end results Qualifications: CPA or actively working on completing Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or other related field and two to five years of experience in accounting-related roles Between 2-10 years of experience SAP experience: specifically in fixed assets and intercompany transactions Oil and gas background Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro Knowledge of US GAAP The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually as applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr Collabera
