Accountant

Tubacex America is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to support the U.S. accounting function. This role is responsible for executing core accounting activities, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and supporting the monthly close, reporting, and audit processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll, intercompany, reclassifications) Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances Maintain integrity and accuracy of the general ledger Payroll Support Assist with payroll processing (ADP), including data validation and reconciliations Ensure proper accounting treatment of payroll-related transactions Intercompany & Reporting Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions Support monthly reporting packages for corporate consolidation Assist in preparation of financial reports and variance analysis Audit, Compliance & Controls Support external and internal audits, including documentation and schedulesEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies Execute and support internal control procedures Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with plant Controllers on accruals and financial data alignment Partner with HR on payroll-related matters Support Accounting Manager in ad hoc financial analysis and projects AR & AP backup activities Bank reconciliations Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls Support ERP (SAP) and process standardization initiatives Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) CPA or progress toward certification (preferred) Experience 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience Manufacturing or multi-entity experience preferred ERP (SAP preferred) Month-end close and audit exposure Technical Skills Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge Advanced Excel skills GL and reconciliations experience Core Competencies Organization and time management Deadline-driven Analytical mindset Integrity and accountability Why Join Tubacex America Exposure to international operations Growth opportunities Manufacturing finance experience Progression toward Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr TUBACEX AMERICA, INC.
