Labor & Employment Associate

A highly respected law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its growing Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation and counseling matters for employers across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to advise management on day-to-day employment matters within a collaborative and client-focused environment. Responsibilities Represent employers in employment-related litigation matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development. Advise and counsel management on employee relations and workplace compliance issues. Support clients with employment policies, procedures, investigations, and risk management matters. Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients on sophisticated labor and employment matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school required. Active New York Bar admission required. 2–4 years of labor and employment experience within a law firm environment. Experience representing employers in litigation before courts and administrative agencies required. Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills required. Excellent academic credentials required. Ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment. Salary range: $175,000 – $210,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
