Procurement Assistant

Procurement AssistantSchneider is seeking a Procurement Assistant in Green Bay to support the organization's shop network from a vendor relationship and supply chain management perspective. The Procurement Assistant will analyze invoices that are rejected for payment and review daily orders to confirm the successful transmission to vendors.Responsibilities:Review invoices for incorrect billing dates and quantities and take the appropriate actions to ensure they are paid in a timely manner.Monitor daily orders to ensure they are successfully processed.Ensure suppliers are correctly established within the inventory management system.Monitor backorder reports and assist others in identifying alternate sources for out-of-stock parts.Maintain accurate pricing and part number information in the system.Set up blanket purchase orders for vendors.Skills and qualifications:High school diploma or GED.A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable, accounts receivable or corporate accounting experience.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Familiar with Oracle-based accounting systems.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Pay and benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance.
