Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Administrative Assistant Prince of Peace is seeking a friendly, organized, and faith-filled Administrative Assistant to serve as the welcoming face of our parish. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and is committed to providing exceptional service to parishioners, visitors, volunteers, and staff. Responsibilities include: Welcome parishioners and visitors with warmth and hospitality. Answer and direct phone calls while providing accurate information and assistance. Maintain parish records, sacramental registers, calendars, and databases. Coordinate Mass intentions, memorial candles, and parish communications. Prepare baptismal and marriage certificates and assist with parish reports. Schedule baptisms, meetings, and events. Process mail, maintain filing systems, and provide clerical support to parish staff, clergy, and volunteers. Assist with parish software systems and other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associate degree in an administrative professional program or a minimum of five years of related administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. A welcoming, patient, and professional demeanor with a commitment to serving others. Hours: This position will work 20 hours per week on the following days: Wednesdays & Thursdays 8am 4pm and Fridays 8am 12pm.
