Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour Job Schedule Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor and report suspicious activity, facility hazards, access-control issues, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
