Primary Care Physician physician job in New York :

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician for their Brooklyn location to deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Daytime
• Schedule: Monday to Friday or potential for a four-day work week
• Hours: 36 hours Clinical and 4 hours admin.
• Setting: Outpatient
• Patient Volume: 2-3 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, recording, and maintaining patient information such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
• Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
• Providing quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
• Reviewing all test results and recommending suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits
• Prescribing medications and formulating ongoing treatment and disease management plans
• Participating in medical staff educational programs and meetings

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience
• M.D. / D.O.
• Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• DEA/BLS/ACLS certified
• Competency in diagnosis and treatment to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
