At Electra, we're building the EL9 — a nine-passenger, hybrid-electric aircraft that takes off and lands in 150 feet. Our Ultra Short technology unlocks thousands of new operating locations and enables what we call Direct Aviation: quiet, point-to-point regional travel that gets people from where they are to where they want to go, without the congestion of major airports or the noise of conventional aviation.

A global company, headquartered in Manassas, VA, Electra is backed by Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, and Safran, has filed for FAA Part 23 type certification, and carries 2,000+ intent to purchase from operators worldwide. We're a team of ~100 people moving fast toward first EL9 test flights in 2027 and certification by late 2029 or 2030. Every hire matters at this stage — and this role is no exception.

The Role

As our Recruiting Coordinator, you'll own the day-to-day execution of Electra's interview process - spanning scheduling, panel coordination, and interview kit prep as our small TA team scales hiring across the company. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our candidates, ensuring every interaction reflects the caliber of team and mission we're building.

This is a high-visibility role at a company where candidate experience isn't an afterthought - it's part of how we represent Electra to the talent market. You'll work directly with recruiters and hiring managers across the business, keeping a high volume of interviews running smoothly and on time. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Own interview logistics end-to-end: scheduling, panel coordination, and building interview kits
• Manage a high volume of scheduling across multiple open reqs, juggling moving pieces without dropping the ball
• Own candidate experience — greeting candidates onsite, getting them set up and prepped, and making sure their visit feels great
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep the interview process moving smoothly
• Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes with a calm, solutions-first attitude

What You Bring

• Prior experience as a recruiting coordinator
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a lot of moving pieces at once
• A warm, polished presence — you'll often be the first person our candidates meet
• Ability to be onsite in our Manassas, VA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience scheduling through Greenhouse
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Familiarity with aerospace, aviation, or hardware hiring
• Experience supporting a lean TA team where you wear multiple hats

This range reflects the anticipated hiring range across all eligible locations; actual compensation is determined based on your relevant experience, skills, and geographic location. Total compensation includes performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Compensation Range

$25 - $32 USD
