Assistant Property Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Rancho Dominguez, CA. 

Key Responsibilities

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Respond to resident inquiries, emails, and office communications with accuracy and professionalism.
- Audit, organize, and maintain resident files to support compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Manage property documents, park records, administrative files, and confidential information.
- Assist with daily office operations, including data entry, filing, follow-up, and general administrative support.
- Support the property management team with resident communications, documentation, and office coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

- $20 to $22 per hour DOE
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.

Additional Skills

Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of property management, administrative, or related real estate office experience.
- Experience working with resident files, property records, compliance documents, or similar administrative records.
- Strong phone etiquette, written communication skills, and customer service ability.
- High attention to detail with the ability to organize documents and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- Prior experience in residential property management, mobile home park management, or a similar real estate office environment.
- Experience supporting resident communications, lease documentation, or property compliance processes.
