About This Role The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for managing nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service setting, including clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, and quality improvement. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Highlights Pay: $157,465.25 - $191,697.52 Annually Location: Long Island City, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Queens Department/Unit: Station 3E - MSQ Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Lead nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in Hourly Care Checks and role model expected behaviors. Ensure integration of Hourly Care Checks into clinical activities. Assess staff competency in Hourly Care Checks and provide feedback. Conduct daily rounding of identified patients and weekly rounding on staff. Communicate patient experience and staff engagement information to the team. Collaborate with the physician dyad and elevate concerns as appropriate. Follow up on patient concerns and provide service recovery as needed. Plan and lead a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care environment. Monitor quality, safety, and throughput metrics to drive continuous improvement.
