Key Responsibilities In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing therapeutic support to couples and families, conducting sessions that cater to both joint discussions and individual therapy needs. Assessing patients' mental health issues and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances. Addressing a range of familial and relational problems, including but not limited to emotional and psychological abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and conflicts within family dynamics. Facilitating communication among family members to enhance relationships, improve conflict resolution, and foster healthy dynamics. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to ensure optimal outcomes for all clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your practice will primarily focus on an array of client issues, such as alcohol and substance abuse, adjustment problems related to divorce, blended family challenges, and communication difficulties. You will play a crucial role in supporting men, women, and children across diverse backgrounds, contributing to their personal development and emotional stability. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications: Hold an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation in the state of Texas. Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field. Exhibit a strong dedication to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care. Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive therapist-client relationships. Preferred Experience We welcome both newly licensed and seasoned therapists to apply. Flexibility in your schedule is crucial, with a suggested workload of 30+ hours per week to maximize patient engagement and treatment continuity. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous.
