Career Services Student Ambassador

Our department helps guide students in career guidance to achieve, succeed, and prosper. We seek students who are engaging, kind, welcoming, and enjoy championing a peaceful, and friendly work environment while serving as student ambassadors for their respective campuses.

Position Description

This position supports students, staff, and visitors by completing the following duties:

• Answer and transfer calls using a multi-line phone system
• Retrieve and respond to voicemail messages
• Assist walk-in students
• Help manage appointments
• Participate in and assist with campus events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs:

• Associate of General Studies

Required Qualifications:

A successful applicant will demonstrate the following qualities and competencies:

• Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn
• Have an understanding of diverse and inclusive environments
• Be able to follow directions and communicate effectively
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
