Qualifications and Experience:

• State of South Carolina School Psychologist license is required
• Demonstrated experience providing assessments, counseling, and consultation in educational settings preferred
• Strong background in psychological and academic testing, report writing, and data-driven interventions
• Understanding of evidence-based practices and current trends in school psychology
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
• Knowledge of relevant state and district protocols is essential

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for high school students
• Participate in eligibility meetings, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and student support teams
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Support positive behavioral interventions and the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state regulations
