Senior Accountant

This is a dynamic role that bridges traditional full-charge bookkeeping with higher-level oversight. You will not only ensure our day-to-day transaction records are immaculate using QuickBooks Enterprise, but you will also act as a trusted advisor, working side-by-side with the owner to conduct financial analysis, review margins, and help guide the financial future of the businesses.

salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity Full-Charge Bookkeeping: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for three separate companies (the core parent company and two smaller operations) utilizing QuickBooks Enterprise
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee invoicing, client collections, vendor bills, and regular expense tracking across all entities.
• Pre-Payroll Time Tracking & Verification: Collect, review, and carefully audit all internal timesheets for accuracy regarding hours, overtime, and allocations before securely transmitting the finalized data to our external payroll processing company.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Partner directly with the company owner to review profit and loss statements, evaluate cash flow, monitor project-based profitability, and deliver actionable financial analysis to support business growth.
• Reconciliations & Month-End Close: Execute monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, adjust journal entries, and prepare clear monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial folders for our CPA.
• Management of 1 employee to start and could lead to additional in the future
