• Assess test results meticulously, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and execute routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, aid in training new personnel or students, and maintain high quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout employment is necessary.
