Our Thousand Oaks location has two operating rooms and specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain Management surgeries. This position would have a varied schedule, between Monday - Friday.In this position, you will:Assists with the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures.Assist with skin preparations and with draping of patientsAssists with care, preparation, maintenance, and after-care of sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment.Removes drapes at the end of the procedure, cleanses the patients of prep solution, and applies dressing as needed.Clean and disinfect instruments and equipment after useParticipate in sponge, instrument, and needle count with the circulating nurse.Assists with stocking, replenishing, and preparation of supplies.Checks updated schedule every morning and prepares room supplies and equipment.Back up materials manager in placing orders for supplies and implants.To ensure success in this role, you should be a:Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technician Program.Must have working experience with Orthopedic and spine surgeriesSuccessful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or current BCLS certificationPay range: $30.00 - $45.00/hourWhy Should You Work Here:Nationally Recognized Surgeons: Join a team of surgeons with national recognition in the fields of spine and sports medicine.Leader in Spine and Sports Medicine: Be part of an organization that leads the way in advancements in spine and sports medicine.Opportunity for Growth: Experience professional growth in a dynamic and growing healthcare environment.Work-Life Balance: No weekends, no holidays, and the same team every day.DISC Surgery Center is an equal opportunity employer.
