Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company , is assisting a corporate client in seeking an experienced Operational Compliance Manager to support on a long-term temporary engagement .

Engagement Details

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 6+ months, with potential for extension
\n
• Hours: Full-time
\n
• Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite in New York City, Seattle, or San Francisco
\n
• Compensation: Starting at $95/hour, dependent on experience
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Develop and implement compliance and governance procedures to support the company's growing U.S. operations
\n
• Establish and maintain compliance best practices, policies, and operational frameworks
\n
• Assess existing compliance processes and identify opportunities for improvement
\n
• Develop procedures and controls designed to promote consistent and effective compliance across the organization
\n
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business
\n
• Support the development of governance structures, documentation, and compliance reporting
\n
• Provide practical guidance on compliance risks and help develop appropriate mitigation strategies
\n

Candidate Qualifications

\n
• Candidates must be able to work onsite two days per week in New York City, Seattle, or San Francisco
\n
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory, governance, risk management, or a related field
\n
• Demonstrated experience building or enhancing compliance programs and operational procedures
\n
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal regulatory and compliance requirements
\n
• Experience developing policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks
\n
• Strong understanding of compliance risk assessment and mitigation
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization
\n
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Experience working cross-functionally with legal, operations, risk, and business teams is preferred
\n
