Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in GOLDSBORO, North Carolina. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting. The role requires coordination and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on complex patient assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a rotation of day and night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, point of care testing, patient education, safety management, discharge planning, and contributing to performance improvement initiatives. The role involves clinical problem-solving, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to healthcare standards and public policy guidelines. The position also emphasizes cultural competence, task prioritization, and facilitating a safe hospital environment.
