Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW with Patient's Choice Psychotherapy, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, which entail psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand the unique needs of each student.

• Collaborating with students and their families to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate specific goals, preferences, and cultural considerations.

• Delivering therapeutic interventions rooted in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in individual, family, and group settings.

• Providing crisis intervention services and serving as a critical team member in coordinating care with teachers, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of students in distress.

• Maintaining precise clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, complying with clinic policies and state regulations.

• Educating students and families about mental health issues through psychoeducation, equipping them with tools to manage their conditions effectively.

• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care strategies with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers.

• Conducting ongoing evaluations to assess treatment outcomes and make necessary modifications to ensure optimal effectiveness.

• Staying updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health to continually enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse student population in the Santa Rosa area, working with individuals from various cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds. Your ability to connect with students and their families will be critical in addressing their unique mental health needs and fostering a supportive environment that promotes resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required for this position.

• An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
