An accounting/administrative clerk provides administrative support to an accounting department by answering phones, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, cleaning out ERP system.
Job type: Temp (8-10 weeks)
Pay : $20 per hour
Schedule : Full-time; Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
Start : Immediately
Location : Nimitz/ Honolulu
Parking : Onsite
Core Responsibilities and Duties
• Answer phones and process payments over the phone
• Review and research AR and AP records to assist with cleaning ERP system
• Recording daily financial transactions, coding documents, and updating the general ledger.
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor statements to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining files, handling mail, and filing paid/unpaid invoices.
• Assisting with payroll data entry, tax preparation, and general office support.
• All accounting and other duties and assignments as assigned by management.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Accuracy is essential for managing financial records and spotting errors.
• Experience with MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software like QuickBooks or ERP systems.
• Strong aptitude for math and data analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
